Knights Valentine's Dance and Silent Auction Huge Success

The 19U Knights have one more reason to enjoy Valentine’s Day … their highly successful dance and silent auction on Saturday, Feb. 13.

A lively crowd helped the 19U Knights raise almost $1,100 through the Silent Auction and ticket purchases to the event. This is the second year a Knights squad has hosted a Valentine’s event, and the second time it has been a roaring success.

Helping out was participation from several parents from the 16U squad, and we appreciate their support. Hopefully, at some point during the season the 19U parents will be able to repay the favour.
We’d like to thank many people, including businesses and groups which donated great prizes for the silent auction:

  • Royal LePage TEAM Realty, broker Kent Browne
  • Argos Carpets and Flooring
  • Goldform Jewellers
  • James Wood Maple Products
  • The Yuen, Derouin, Marko families.

Our DJ Jason from P.S. Mobile Music spun great tunes all night.

The Kanata Sports Club for so graciously offering their facility for the night, free of charge, and Dave, our bartender, for all his help.

Our organizing committee which included Pat and Kathy Milks, Lynda and Martin Carpenter, Brenda and Randy Derouin.

Anyone for a Third Annual Knights Valentine’s Dance and Silent Auction, next February?
