The Knights 15u consecutive game winning streak in the AABC league was ended at 16 games with a loss in the first game of a doubleheader to Massena by a score of 6-3.
The Knights rebounded with a 3-1 win the second game to gain a split of the doubleheader. Andrew Cockburn pitched
a complete 7 inning game in the second game. Both games were fiercely competitive, the big hits in the second game to put the Knights ahead were
singles by Ben Wade, Carter McKinley and Ryan Bochert. Campbell Chamberlin drove in the first run with a two-out double.
In the first game, Alex Gagne had a clutch two-out double that drove in two runs. Christian Gilberg drove in the other run with another clutch two out single.
The Knights continue their AABC league play with a Canada Day doubleheader against Knapps Station. They then travel to Mississauga for the Mississauga
North Baseball Association tournament from July 3 - July 5.
