Profile and Career Highlights

Adrian returns for his second year with the Knights a stronger and more durable athlete, particularly on the mound. He also has an intangible that can’t be coached ... he’s 6-foot-4 and continues to grow into his body.

He is primarily used as a reliever/closer this season. A winter spent improving his strength and stamina added velocity to his fastball and more control to all his pitches. His walks/innings pitched ratio has been exceptional. He has kept the ball low in the zone to elicit ground balls, and can also throw on back-to-back days, showing great durability and recuperation.

Defensively, Adrian has improved both his range in the outfield and his ability to read the ball off the bat.
At the plate, Adrian’s physical strength makes him a threat not to be taken lightly. One of his highlights last season was a monster home run which – while it could not be measured – was the longest hit all season by any of the Knights. He has added considerable pop to the lineup, with almost half his hits going for extra bases.
