Profile and Career Highlights

Landen is a rookie Knight who has quickly contributed in three key areas … defensively, at the plate and on the mound. Despite his youth, he has emerged as one of the team’s most consistent performers.

On the mound, Landen is able to mix up to five pitches effectively in a game, hitting spots and throwing all for strikes. He has a 76/66 differential between his fastball and offspeed, and projects to throw much harder as he grows. Excellent mechanics, good strength and stamina mean he usually pitches deep into games.

At the plate he has good vision and is a very selective hitter. He works deep into counts and provides both average and some power.

In the field, he is a very versatile infielder, combining a strong arm, good mechanics and good range to both sides, allowing him to play any infield spot.

Off the field, Landen is also a gifted musician and strong student, carrying an average of over 90% in his high school studies. A strong leader, he has been recognized with numerous major school and club awards for excellence and achievement in sports, music and academics.
