Profile and Career Highlights

Steve is a physically powerful player who provides the Knights with both solid defensive play and a strong bat in the middle of the order.

Defensively, his versatility allows him to contribute both at first base or the outfield. He has deceptive speed and quick acceleration, making him a threat on the base paths.

Steve was a standout in Kanata Little League, making the competitive team every year through junior, when he moved up to the Knights organization. During the junior district championships in 2007, Steve drove in seven runs in one game to spark a defeat over arch-rival East Nepean.

Last season with the Knights, he slammed a walkoff three-run homer to eliminate Brockville and send his team to the Ontario Baseball Association championship tournament. He also drove in seven RBIs in a district championship game while playing junior LL for Kanata.

Off the field, Steve enjoys working out and plays hockey in the winter months.
