Jason is another talented 15-year-old on the roster and is entering his third year with the Ottawa Knights.
Playing mainly catcher, he brings great physical strength to the position, has a strong throwing arm and his pop-up time has been clocked at just under 2 seconds.
Jason has been a workhorse catcher for the Knights, showing endurance and stamina.
At the plate he is a powerful line drive-type hitter who, during his days with East Nepean, won the home run derby at the Ontario Major LL championships. He was awarded an Ottawa Sports Award of Excellence in 2006, along with his East Nepean teammates, for reaching the Canadian Major Little League championship game.
Jason contributed with strong pitching and power hitting at the nationals, smacking several home runs. He combines power with the ability to put the ball into play, keeping his strikeouts low.
Outside baseball, Jason has a brown belt in jiu jitsu and spends many hours each week in the weight room improving his strength.
