Dom is a gifted athlete who can contribute in all facets of the game; defensively, on the mound or at the plate.
He led the team last season in RBIs and was near the top in several other offensive categories. As a pitcher, he had the lowest run average and most strikeouts on the club.
He was gunned at 83 MPH in May at the Ontario provincial team camp in Guelph, and is a powerful pitcher who throws both fastballs and breaking pitches for strikes. Confident on the mound, he is not afraid to waste pitches to set up out pitches.
During his Little League years, Dom struck out 14 batters in a six-inning game at the junior district championships and, in his next start, threw a one-hitter to beat arch-rival East Nepean in the first game of the championship.
In the field, he shows good range and a strong arm from the left side of the infield.
At the plate, Dom combines both average and power. He led the team last season with nine home runs.
Dom has also played both minor and high school football.
